Suture, PDO 3-0 Violet 1X18 PS-2 is a synthetic, absorbable monofilament suture composed of polydioxanone. It is designed for long-term wound support and gradual absorption through hydrolysis. The suture maintains approximately 50% of its tensile strength at four weeks and is completely absorbed within 180 to 220 days. The violet coloration enhances visibility during surgical procedures, allowing for precise placement and controlled tissue approximation.

This suture is equipped with a PS-2 Precision Reverse Cutting Needle, designed for optimal penetration in tough or dense tissues. The 3/8 circle needle configuration provides precise control, particularly in confined surgical areas.
